Gabrielle brings a vibrant energy and creative spirit to her role as Activities Director. With a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and years of experience working closely with residents, she is passionate about creating engaging programs that enrich the lives of our community members. Gabrielle combines her expertise in planning with her genuine care for others, ensuring every activity fosters connection, joy, and purpose. Outside of work, Gabrielle loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She has a passion for creativity and loves exploring different art projects, including drawing, painting, and sculpture.

Gail moved into Whitaker Place in April 2024.  She has been an active participant in our community activities.  Gail grew up right here in Penacook, NH and lived right up the street when she got married.  She raised her three children in Canterbury.  She worked for 25 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield recouping funds for Workers Comp claims where she dealt with attorneys, other insurance companies and subscribers.

Christine is the Branch & Business Development Manager at Merrimack County Savings Bank on North State Street in Concord. She was promoted to this position in October 2023.  Her career began at the Concord Main Street location in 2018 as the Branch Services Supervisor and promoted to Branch Services Manager in 2021.  Prior to joining Merrimack County Savings Bank, Christine worked in retail, primarily in management, for 26 years.

Christine is active with the annual fundraiser “Rock’ N Race” for the Payson Center for Cancer Care. She became a volunteer coordinator for the fundraising race in September 2023.  Christine has also recently become a member of the Concord Rotary, as a business member. 

Christine resides in Concord, NH with her husband Todd and their two teenage children.

Jody is a family Nurse Practitioner and has practiced primary care in the Concord and Franklin/Laconia areas. In 2015, she joined a palliative care practice at the Concord Hospital. She retired in February 2023 but continues to work per diem at the Concord Hospital. Jody is originally from Long Island, NY.  She and her husband moved to NH in 1990 and bought their current home in 1996 in New Hampton. Jody owns horses and loves to ride. She is a triathlete who enjoys biking, swimming, cross country skiing, and hiking in the beautiful Lakes Region/White Mountains where she lives.  She loves to travel and now retired hopes to travel more. 

Amy is the Executive Director at John H Whitaker Place since 2018. She has over 25 years’ experience in senior living and healthcare with over 15 years’ experience in Senior Living Leadership. Amy has a degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. Her passion and commitment as the Executive Director are to provide the best home possible for the residents who choose to live at Whitaker Place. She enjoys spending time with her large family and you may find her enjoying her gardens, camping, or birdwatching when she is not at Whitaker Place.

Zarko has been our Maintenance Director since 2005. He takes great pride in his work and ensures our residents have a safe home and our community is running at its best. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Dara of 36 years. When he is not at work you will find him in his mancave watching tennis, soccer and basketball.

Kyle Cayer is the Director of Dining and Food Services at John H. Whitaker Place. He has been a part of this community for four years and has brought his passion for culinary excellence to the residents of JHWP. Kyle graduated with an Associates of Science in Restaurant Management from New Hampshire Community College in Laconia in 2006. His passion for developing exceptional dining experiences for all sets him apart from many Chefs in the state and region. Kyle is married to his high-school sweetheart and love of his life, Erin, and has two wonderful children Brennan and Bridgette who keep him busy with their many school, athletic (hockey, football, field hockey and lacrosse) and all their extra-curricular activities too. When he is not at work, he can be seen building his antique Volkswagen, camping with his family and friends, building the Cayer family homestead and playing with his two dogs, Whitley and Budget.

Christine “Sam” Record, is the Accountant for John H Whitaker Place and secretary to the Board of Directors. Christine obtained her accounting degree from New England College. She has spent most of her career doing not-for-profit accounting. Before joining John H Whitaker place, she had spent 19 years with Riverbend Community Mental Health in Concord, NH. Christine lives with her husband in Contoocook, NH, and when she is not at work, she would rather be fishing!
