…a note from Kim

An important part of my job is about paying attention and creating opportunities for engagement. I love meeting new people and helping them maintain and expand their interests and activities. Staying engaged and active is essential to good physical health, as well as extremely good medicine for the ups and downs that are part life, too. Many of our new residents are leaving a home where they’ve lived for a long time — and it’s a big transition. I know that one thing that helps soften that kind of change is the community here, and the new possibilities and new friendships that develop through the activities program each day.
